What will a week look like in this role:
• As an early team member, you will get a chance to set the foundations of our engineering culture. You will help articulate our engineering principles and help set the long-term roadmap.
• Making decisions on the evolution of Cashflo's technical architecture.
• Building new features end to end, from talking to customers to writing code.
• Collaborating with a group of dedicated leaders, such as yourself, to address and solve meaningful challenges as they arise.
You’ll excel if you possess:
• 3+ Years of Full-time software engineering experience
• Skilled in creating scalable backend platforms, utilizing a well-balanced combination of frameworks, design patterns, and optimized data structures.
• Having a keen eye for quality recognizes an ideal test case and loves to experiment to find effective ways to test your code.
• Experience working with orchestration engines such as Temporal, and data-integration platforms such as Airbyte.
• Should have a strong proficiency in Python, with a particular emphasis on effectively handling data using data frames in Python.
• Has a history of working with and actively developing distributed systems.
• Embraces the role of mentoring fellow developers and coaching them to collectively work towards improvement.
• Considers Functional Requirements as one facet and aims to create products/platforms that are a delight to work with operationally.
• Thorough knowledge of SDLC.
• Having proficiency in any language like Go, NodeJS, or Rust would set you apart.
• Expertise in any RDBMS or NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of messaging systems like RabbitMQ, Kafka and protocols.
• Understand CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to cloud providers like AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Seen extensive scale and understands the evolutionary technical challenges.
