We are building India’s largest B2B Payments Platform that transforms how businesses pay and get paid. Our award-winning platform already processes INR 20,000+ Crores of invoices every month, across 300,000 MSMEs and 1200+ corporates; with 30+ lenders plugged in for credit. Globally, companies in this space, like Coupa, Bill.com, Melio, C2FO, Tipalti, have witnessed tremendous success over the past decade doing $ Billion+ disbursements weekly and cumulatively valued over $50 Billion.
You will join our core team that currently consists of ex-BCG and ISB / IIM alumni with a team of industry veterans serving on the advisory board. We are backed by Elevation Capital (one of the most successful VCs in India) and General Catalyst ($15 Billion+ global fund, and early investors in Stripe, Airbnb etc.). We share our lineage with HCS, a 25 year old investment bank and a registered NBFC. Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic, commercially savvy Relationship Manager – Lending (Banks & NBFC Partnerships) to lead the charge in building and managing partnerships with lenders. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role where you'll be directly responsible for sourcing, onboarding, and growing strategic partnerships with banks and NBFCs for CashFlo’s lending products.
What will a week look like in this role:
· Lender Onboarding & Partnership Building:
o Identify, evaluate, and onboard banks and NBFCs as lending partners from scratch.
o Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders at lending institutions
. Deal Structuring & Negotiation:
o Lead commercial negotiations, term sheet discussions, and partnership agreements independently.
o Ensure alignment of partnership structures with CashFlo’s strategic and commercial objectives.
· Account Management:
o Manage ongoing lender relationships to ensure smooth operational execution and regular business review.
o Track performance, identify areas of improvement, and work cross-functionally to enhance outcomes for both CashFlo and the lender.
· Market Intelligence:
o Stay on top of market trends, competitor activities, and changes in regulatory environment impacting lender partnerships.
o Use insights to shape strategy and improve CashFlo’s positioning with lenders.
You’ll excel if you possess:
· Experience:
o 4–9 years of experience in a similar role, preferably at a fintech, platform business, or lending aggregator.
o Proven track record of independently sourcing and scaling lender partnerships (banks and/or NBFCs).
· Skills & Qualities:
o Strong commercial acumen with the ability to understand and negotiate financial deals.
o Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
o High ownership, proactive problem-solver, and self-driven.
o Strong understanding of lending ecosystems and financial products in the B2B / SME space is a plus.
