• Knowing your user

• Knowing what the user will actually use against what they ask for

• Being able to differentiate among pain-points, good-to-have-asks and moons-and-stars 

• Modeling the feature right

  • Ability to think in terms of modules/entities

  • Building without actually building (if you don’t get it, we explain it during the interviews)

• Adoption, not building

  • If you sit with the metrics everyday to see, whether the users are using the last shipped product

• Beauty in simplicity

  • Presenting features to the users in the most elegant way without making it unnecessary complicated with a lot of bells and whistles

• Writing

  • You write what you think and what you hear

Basic things (though it is not extremely necessary):

• Experience in building products for business users (more than 3 years is a plus)

  • You should have built these products for these years. Spending time at an organization with a designation is not sufficient. So if you have been doing this but your primary role is something else, please apply.

• Excellent communication (Written and Verbal)

• You should love talking to engineers and designers

• You should be an intuitive problem solver.
